Grapes In Canine Food? May Not Be They Toxic To Dogs?

November 23rd, 2011 by lori1969 | Permalink

I’ve always heard that grapes are toxic to dogs and should never be fed to dogs. I took my dog ??to Petsmart the other day and I saw a couple bags of Nutro Ultra Holistic dog food. . . And on the package, there were pictures of some of the ingredients: grapes, sunflower, lots of grains (* cough * fillers…). So yeah. . . if grapes are poisonous to dogs, then why does this dog food advertise using grapes? They’re not prunes. . . Prunes are just dried Plumber and they have pictured a bunch of red grapes. I’ll find pics. . . http://www. jbpet. com/RS/SR/Product/5070160_L. jpghttp: / / di1. shopping. + + + Ultra com/images1/pi/ac/e0/0f/39207176-300×300-0-0_Nutro Nutro Large Breed + + Adult + Dog + Food. jpgIf they do not use grapes in the food, then why have them pictured on the bag? Does not that send the message to people that it’s ok to feed dogs grapes?

Who said anything about making a shed was easy? Well, we said so. Today there are numerous articles about ways to build your own shed being published.  Doing-it-yourself does not only save you time, but also money.  Some may think that creating a shed is a hard task. Most likely it is. However, a small bit of help will yield a big difference. To that end, here are some tips about how to make your own shed.

First, you must decide upon which type of shed you want to build.  If you have the talent and experience to design your own shed, that is something you can do.  But if architecture isn’t your area of expertise, you can find lots of plans on the internet.

And speaking of the internet, when researching how to build your own shed, choose websites wisely.  A good website will have plenty of articles about building sheds and can serve as a good guide for you.

Proper planning is of key importance.  After you’ve selected your blueprints check with local county or city ordinances to see if a building permit is required.  Next, you must consider the location of your new shed in your yard.  Next is to decide the position of your shed in your backyard.  You want to make sure it is convenient to water, phone, and electrical sources if you are considering adding any of those components to your shed.

With all construction, a solid foundation is critical to a well-built building.  There are two types of foundations used:  skid and concrete. The most cost efficient and easy foundation is the skid foundation. The foundation needs timber that is placed next to each other and gravel that is two inches beneath the extra rain channel. This is an appropriate foundation for most outbuildings in people’s backyards.

Concrete foundations are permanent

What Materials Should Be In A Quality Puppy Dried Food Food.?

I’m looking for a good quality puppy dry food for my new puppy. The breeder has her on the BARF raw food diet. Tried it on my older dog and I loved the effect it had on him. I spoke to my vet and she said she would like my dogs to still have some dry food to help with their teeth. She said the BARF diet is very good for dogs if you have the time so I don’t need to go over board with the dry stuff. So I’m taking that as I don’t have to spend heaps like those fancy things at the vet. I should have clarified but I was just so excited I was getting praise from the vet but so didn’t. So now I’m asking on here. I just spent 30mins in the dog food isle at woolies reading ingredients in the dry stuff they have there. I would go to a feed store like City Farmers or Better Pets and Gardens but I live in a small town and only have woolworths for our pet supplies. So what should I look for?I know meat should be the first ingredient. It’s a mining town in the middle of the Australian desert. Their are no Animals around here.
